Middle School Ministry
Welcome to LGP (Love God & People)! Our ministry consists of about 75 middle school students (6th, 7th, and 8th grades) having a blast with crazy competitive games, enjoying heartfelt worship time with our band, and participation in relevant and relational small groups. Come see how God can impact your life!
We meet every Thursday from 7:00pm–9:00pm and every Sunday from 11:00am–12:30pm. Some of the major special events that take place throughout the year are Bungee Soccer, Fantasco Outreach, Night Games, Middle School Summer Camp & Winter Camp. UPDATES at lgprocks.com!
SPECIAL EVENTS
FALL KICK-OFF - Held in September. All middle school students are invited for a night of amazing fun with a guest speaker, live band, and ultimate dodgeball!! It's a free event, so invite your friends!
NIGHT GAMES - Held every October from 7:00PM-10:00PM in the Family Life Center. Cost: $5 each. Tons of free candy and exciting games! Dress for the night.
BROOM HOCKEY - Play broom hockey on ice! Usually held in December.
SPRING KICK-OFF - Every January, LGP holds a Spring Kick-Off event with a guest speaker, live band, and crazy games! Free event!
CRAB FEED - Fundraiser for Middle School Winter Camp with all-you-can-eat crab, pasta, and salad!
WINTER CAMP - Held in January/February at Hume Lake. Always an awesome time!
FANTASCO - Year-end event to close the school year held in April or May with a guest speaker and live band. Games include: inflatable joust and obstacle course, rock climbing wall, Bungee Run and Bungee Soccer. $10 per person plus bring $$ for food, drinks and glow necklaces!!!
BUNGEE SOCCER (Summer Sports League) - Each night, 3 games are played at 7:00pm, 8:00pm, and 9:00pm. Players are strapped into harnesses and attached to a bungee cord connected to the ceiling. An indoor arena keeps the ball in play. There are 12 players on each team; 7 on the floor. Playing and scoring is just like soccer, but more difficult!
