DR. JOHN SIRCAR
Dr. Sircar founded Bangladesh Theological Seminary, in March, 1990. With the help of visiting professors, this seminary offers high level training to students from all over Bangladesh, preparing them for ministry to their own people. In conjunction with the Seminary, Dr. Sircar operates a Bible college, and an orphanage. Students of the seminary and Bible College have planted more than 10 rural churches and started several primary schools in the villages. The orphanage provides physical and spiritual refuge to some of the many orphaned children. This ministry exists in the heart of a militant Muslim country, with overt hostility toward Christianity.

CHINESE EVANGELISTS
The underground church in China is organized into a number of groups, each of which has ongoing needs for Bibles, education, teaching materials and encouragement. Anonymous evangelists risk their lives daily to spread the Good News and offer support to the underground church. The result is much fruit in the midst of an often dangerous environment.

JOHN AND ESTERA VATRAN
John and Estera Vatran returned to their native Romania after being educated in the United States. There they work in leadership training, street evangelism, church planting and humanitarian works. John also teaches at the Baptist Theological Seminary in Bucharest, and recently has had government blessing in sharing “Principles of Morality” with public school teachers, using the Gospel of Luke.

ROD AND MAYRA FRY
Rod and Mayra are missionaries with CAM International serving in church planting and mobilization, in Mexico City. The Iglesia Biblica Sendero de Vida began July, 2005. They are currently involved in the beginnings of a second church plant in this same general area. Check out updates of how God is using them here!

FRANCISCO VELASQUEZ
Francisco Velasquez serves as Middle East and North Africa Area Director for “Partners International”. Reports from Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Sudan, Egypt, North Africa, Turkey and all parts of the Muslim world come in monthly from Francisco. For example, iFrancisco and his wife recently participated in a Christian Conference in Iraq, at which they were expecting about 35 attendees. Instead they had more than 100. Some had traveled for 10 hours over mountainous roads to come to the meetings. Similar exciting work is taking place in other countries in the Middle East and North Africa.

NONILO SANCHEZ
Nonilo Sanchez, in the Philippines, is involved in evangelism, church planting, humanitarian work, the training of new believers, and Bible teaching to public school teachers. His ministry, “Sola Gratia Ministries”, has as its primary goal to train, send and support missionaries to unreached people groups in the Philippines. As of December, 2004, this ministry had started 15 churches and trained more than 100 pastors and church leaders in 6 provinces of the country.

DR. SUKHWANT BHATIA
Dr. Sukhwant Bhatia ministers in India. Dr. Sukhwant is the founder and Executive Director of “Seek Partners International”. This institute has as its goal to “Support Christian ministries, evangelize the unreached, and equip national Christian leaders for the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ, in the least Christian regions of the world.” Dr. Sukhwant also serves as the Academic Dean, Director of Doctoral Studies and teaching professor at the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies. Additionally, he serves as the chief Editor for International Bible Society’s Hindi Study Bible project in North India.

MIRCHE ANDREEV
Mirche Andreev established the “Macedonian Mission to the Balkans” to plant churches in the 35 cities in the former Yugoslavia, which had more than 50,000 people with no evangelical church. His basic vision remains unchanged, but the war and its aftermath presented the need for different strategies, new alliances and involvement in relief work, which in turn has opened additional avenues for sharing the Gospel. The mission now has 12 target cities and each one has a work in progress. The ministry is multi-faceted, involving presenting the Jesus film, literature distribution, seminars, evangelistic meetings, Bible studies, home visitation and Sunday services, in addition to extensive humanitarian work such as food distribution.
