CLASS 201
Discovering Spiritual Maturity
When a person has been a Christian for any period of time, they inevitably begin asking some important questions. How can I grow in the Christian life? What does it mean to truly have a personal relationship with Jesus? If I am being made to be like Jesus, in what way am I involved? CLASS 201 is designed to answer these questions.
During this CLASS, you will learn the habits that will invigorate your Christian life. Learning to spend quality time in the Bible has life-long benefits. You will receive helpful tips on overcoming the largest obstacles you’ll face as you get started.
Second, every growing Christian has an established time of talking to God. This time is called prayer and the measure of successful Christian living is often directly proportional to the time spent praying. You will discover that God actually desires a conversation with you. We will teach you what a pattern of personal prayer looks like.
A third area of growth found in the successful Christian is in the area of financial giving. Unfortunately this is a sensitive subject and one which has been abused in many churches. The mature discover that as believer priests, God has a plan for our giving in keeping with his provision.
Finally, you will discover that none of us can be successful in the Christian life without others. Valley offers many opportunities to join other Christians in small groups creating significant connections. We are all connected and when we experience the benefits of this connection, we gain strength in the Christian life.
