Women's Ministry
Our mission is to meet the spiritual emotional and physical needs of women. It is both an outreach and edifying ministry. It is a place where women from various backgrounds and ages can find fellowship and growth. We offer:
Studies - Small Group Bible studies are designed to meet the needs of women as they seek friendships and success in a hectic world.
Special Retreats - Throughout the year, Valley organizes "mini-retreats" where refreshment, fellowship, and personal growth can be discovered.
Special Programs - During the holidays, such as Christmas and Mother's Day, special programs are designed to highlight the holiday and the unique role women play in the home and in ministries.
California Women's Retreat - Every February the ladies of Valley go to the California Women's Retreat at the San Ramon Marriott Hotel to listen to inspiring speakers and fellowship with one another. Learn more about what this retreat has to offer at www.cawr.org!
Holiday Craft & Business Fair – This event is held every year in November and is an all day event from 10:00AM – 4:00PM in the Family Life Center.
Piecemakers Quilting Classes – This class is taught by Bonnie Talbot. Beginners and experienced quilters are all welcome! This class is held on Thursdays in Worship Center Room 104-105 from 12:30PM – 3:00PM and from 6:30PM – 9:00PM. Please call (510) 799-3171 for a schedule of classes. Moms' Group – Every Wednesday at 11:00AM. Moms' bring their little ones out to the park for outdoor fun and fellowship! Call (510) 799-3171 for this week's location.
50+ Fellowship – Meets once a month in the Soul Food Cafe for lunch, fellowship, and a devotional.
