You're invited to this FREE family-friendly drop-in event, sponsored by VBC Kids! We'll have music, food, games, and family activities! Bring your whole family and ring in the new year with us! Please let us know if you and your family can make it, so we can plan ahead for food and other supplies!

WHAT IS A NEW YEARS "RESOLUTION SOLUTION" PARTY?
We'll have fun family activities geared toward helping you honor God more in the new year in fun and different ways! Finishing out a year can sometimes lead to regret, but the prospect of a new year brings not only the opportunity to praise God for what He’s done in the past year, but plan ahead for how you can do better in the new year. Resolutions can be difficult to accomplish without a plan, but planning to honor God more, share His love better, and use your time and resources to the fullest for Him is always an worth-while endeavor…and we want to help! Not only will we have resolution ideas you may have thought of already, we’ll have the solutions to those right there, ready to use in fun and memorable ways. Want to do more for the homeless? We’ll have everything you need to build homeless packs to pass out this coming year. Want to make memories with your kids? We’ll have take-home kits to make that easy for you and also activities to do right there!
DO WE HAVE TO STAY ALL NIGHT?
Not at all. This is meant to be a fun way for you to close out 2022 with your VBC Family!
WILL YOU HAVE FOOD?
Yes! (Well... snack food!) We’ll have appetizers, desserts, and snack-type food for you to enjoy throughout the night.
WILL THERE BE DANCING?
Yes! We won’t be dancing ALL night, but we will have some times of family-friendly dancing to God-honoring and respecting music.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We’re calling the dress code “dress up/dress down”. You can dress up to take pictures in our fun photo booths, but no one wants to stay in dress clothes all night. During the night, feel free to change into your sweats or pajamas and slippers to be comfy as we ring in the new year! You can also come comfortable. This is a family event, so it’s fine to wear what you’d wear around your family!
DOES IT COST ANYTHING?
Nope! The VBC Kids Ministry and a couple of VBC Family members are sponsoring the cost of this fun event.
CAN WE JUST COME AND HANG OUT WITHOUT DOING ANY RESOLUTION SOLUTIONS?
Absolutely. If the thought of doing anything like that stresses you out, we’ll have games and spaces for you to just hang out and relax in…and one fun activity might catch your eye for you to participate in…but no pressure! [wink, wink]
CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
Yes, this is a VBC Kids family-friendly hosted event. We won’t have “childcare” where you drop your kids off. This is meant to be something fun for you do together.
CAN I COME IF I DON'T HAVE KIDS?
Yes, it’s a family-friendly event, and you’re part of the Valley Bible Church Family! We’d love to have you there enjoying your VBC family.
DO I HAVE TO BE A VALLEY BIBLE CHURCH MEMBER TO ATTEND?
Nope! We’d love to hang out with you, so come on down and enjoy the evening with us.
WILL IT BE LOUD?
The main room might get a little…fun with music and games, but we will have side rooms open that may be a little quieter.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE RESOLUTION SOLUTION ACTIVITIES YOU'LL HAVE?
We’ll have a missionary station where you can write cards to our missionaries, painting and craft stations, family cookie making station, homeless pack making station, journal making station, and many more.
WHAT ELSE WILL YOU HAVE TO DO?
There will be games, puzzles, music, dancing, movies, snacks, volleyball (after midnight), photo booths, and fun hanging out with your VBC family and friends.
