At Valley, you will experience friendly people, a unique mix of worship music that will appeal to any style preference with an emphasis on worshipping the Lord together, and relevant messages in an engaging atmosphere. We want you to feel welcomed and loved!
When You Arrive
If you are a first-time visitor, please notify one of the attendants in the parking lot as you drive in so that our team may direct you to the visitor parking spots. After you park, stop by for a donut and coffee at our Coffee Cart at the Worship Center. If you will be bringing your children (age 3 years old - 5th grade) to Kids Church, head over to the Family Life Center to check them in and you will be directed to their classes.
Be sure to visit the Information Kiosk in the Worship Center to fill out a Welcome Card and receive a free gift! If you need assistance, feel free to ask one of our ushers or greeters and they will be happy to help you!
services
Our two morning services are identical, and our worship is lead by a worship director and either a worship team or choir. It is a mix of contemporary and gospel music, and traditional hymns, with our focus being on exalting the Lord together. During each service, you have an opportunity come up to the front for prayer with one of our prayer counselors. It is a wonderful time of waiting on the Lord and casting burdens on Him (because He cares for you!) Every week, an offering is received. As a visitor, don't feel pressured to give an offering! You are our guest! On the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, we celebrate the Lord's Supper, for those who would like to participate.
Our teaching pastors include, but are not limited to, Executive Pastor Larry Howard, Associate Pastor Matthew Nicosia, and Founder/Pastor Emeritus Dr. Phillip Howard. They typically lead us through an expository study of a book or section of the Bible, and are able to explain and apply God's Word to our lives in a meaningful way. Occasionally, we also have guest speakers to teach or share about their ministry.
Bibles are provided in the pew racks and sermon notes are handed out along with bulletins as you enter the main auditorium.
HOW TO DRESS
There's no need to worry about what to wear. We have a wide range of people who wear anything from jeans to full suits to traditional cultural attire. Just wear whatever you feel comfortable in. God cares more about the heart than the outward appearance (1 Samuel 16:7).
