This summer, Roar will be the “mane” event! At this epic safari adventure, kids will explore God’s goodness and celebrate a ferocious faith that powers them through this wild life. Your kids will get to enjoy stations like Wild Bible Adventures, Stampede Sports, Imagination Station, KidVid Cinema, Sing & Play Roar, and a Safari Celebration each day. Every station is designed to reinforce the daily Bible Point in a hands-on, interactive way that keeps your whole herd engaged.
ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. Walk-up registration is welcome! We look forward to having a roar-ageous time with you at Summer Night Camp 2019!
Can my 5-year old attend? Yes! We have a special preschool program that’s just their size. The “big” kids elementary program is for kids entering 1st-6th grade. The youngest kids in the elementary program have to be entering 1st grade, because there are a lot of kids and there is a lot of moving around. It’s simply not safe and the subject matter is geared toward that age group. The preschool program gets to participate in our Sing & Play time with the older kids, but we have a specially designed program just for them separate from the “big” kids. Even if they are advanced or have older siblings, we have to keep them in the preschool program. Thanks for understanding!
Can we come late? Absolutely! We have a strict schedule, and we’ll know exactly where your kid’s crew (small group) is. We’ll have someone walk them to their group whenever they come. We’re just happy they’re there.
Can we miss a day? Yep! We know life happens. Even if your kids can only come for one day, it’s worth it. They’ll have a great time, but, more importantly, they’ll learn about Jesus! It’s totally worth it. Just let their check in leader know so we can put someone else in their space since space is limited!
Do you feed the kids dinner? No, I’m sorry. We do have snack sometimes, but please make sure they eat before they come. Kids listen and participate better on full bellies!
Allergies? For food allergies, please make sure you list it on the registration card and follow up with the check-in volunteer and/or crew leader. Make sure they know what they can and can’t have, and bring an alternative snack if necessary.
Can I be with my friend/sibling? Yes! Put the name of your friend on the registration form, and we’ll try to do our best to make sure you can be with them. We probably can’t put you with all your friends, but this is a great time to make new friends! Keep a weathered eye out…maybe you’ll SEA someone who needs a friend like you!
What if my child is sick? Please keep them home. We can give you anything they missed from that day, but we don’t want other kids or leaders getting sick. We do have a very strict policy concerning sickness. Kids with fevers will be asked to leave. They must be 24 hours fever free to come. No unexplained or contagious rashes. No vomiting or diarrhea for the last 24 hours. No colored mucus.
I’m sure you understand the need to strictly enforce these policies as we desire to keep everyone well! Thanks for helping us adhere to them.
What if I lose something? We have a lost and found at the store. Check with your kids crew leader first, then check the store. Hopefully it’ll turn up!
